Gentlemen M/C Sportsmen was established on March 13, 1971. Meetings were held at a members house in the southern end of Lancaster in the beginning. We joined District 6 of the American Motorcycle Association (AMA) on July 1, 1971. Originally there were 25 Regular Members. Now we have 30 Regular Members, 4 Charter Members, and 5 Honorary Members.

     The first Poker Run was held May 15, 1971 and the first motorcycle drags were held June 20, 1971. Also the first scramble was held on August 6, 1972 at our 10 acre location on Red Hill Road in Pequea that we leased for ten years.

     The Ladies Auxilary was approved by membership on February 6, 1972.

     On June 16, 1987 we bought 7 1/2 acres at 937 Lancaster Pike, Quarryville, PA ( just south of the Buck Motorsports Park on Route 272), where we are located now. On July 14, 1990 we started to build our Clubhouse. Our first meeting was held in our new Clubhouse on January 2, 1992.

     We now host Poker Runs, Block Shoots, and Dances at the Club's grounds.
